NPR Three Minute Fiction

So I got the bright idea to enter this round of NPR’s flash fiction contest using my blog as a foundation for the prompt, “A character finds something he/she has no intention of giving back” or “Finders Keepers”. Rules 600 words or less and fictional.  Past winners end of with their piece read on Weekend Edition of All Things Considered and published in the Paris Review. I’ve attached my fiction for you to read if you’re inclined. If you’re curious, the thing my character finds is sobriety.
